Assessment Tasks

Copy and paste from the following data to produce each assessment task. Write these in plain English and spell out how, when and where the task is to be carried out, under what conditions, and what resources are needed. Include guidelines about how well the candidate has to perform a task for it to be judged satisfactory.

Develop an associated energy management plan for the design 
Integrate building management systems (BMS) considerations into the design based on requirements of the brief 
Check feasibility and evaluate solutions against design criteria, ensuring conformity to standards and codes, technical, economic and WHS requirements 
Determine social and sustainability implications of solutions 
Present concept proposals to client 
Evaluate concept proposals with client 
Ensure that design solution is optimised with respect to the system specifications 
Finalise selected design, including equipment, layout and fluid requirements 
Ensure preparation of all required documentation, drawings, specifications and instructions 
Consult with client and stakeholders to obtain sign-off on design 
Monitor installation and commissioning with stakeholders and make any necessary adjustments to design
